Day Nine - We left the LOVIS but still had work to do
19.09.10, 22:20 by Barbara Hentzsch (comments: 0)
Today was our last day on Lovis. Everyone got a task and all the crew helped to clean the boat. The weather wasn't very good, because it was raining, and everyone was a bit sad to leave Lovis which we all have grown quite attached to. After packaging our luggage we thanked the crew of Lovis who has helped make this cruise a fantastic week.
We then travelled to Rostock Warnemünde by train and got to our hostel, where we will spend the last night. In the afternoon we went to the seal station here in Warnemünde where we observed the seals and got an presentation on how they can orientate themselves in the water. Dinner was prepared for us and it was nice to not having to do the dishes. After dinner we worked on our presentation that we are holding tomorrow at the conference.
Now we plan to go for a walk in the city and perhaps some of us will go for a swim, we’ll see about that…
So long, from Rostock Warnemünde
