After Breakfast at 7am there is a meeting in the assembly hall where all students get there schedule. They will participate in all workshops in shifts so that after Science Camp is over every student went to every workshop.
Lukasz Hoppe from the IOPAN lectures about Baltic hydrography. Afterwards the first students taking part in the hydrography workshop can get their hands on a Baltic Sea model and study their own salt water inflow.
After lunch a different group of ten students has the chance to go on a boat trip. There are two boats, one of them is a real research boat provided by the IOW. The students can take their own samples with devices every marine scientist uses. They measure the secchie depth, take water samples from the bottom and the surface water and use the plankton net. Then the research boat takes a trip to the Baltic Sea and samples Benthos, which is a very muddy but fun procedure.
After dinner students of the KHS have prepared rally through town.
