Postcard from South Africa

Good morning! My name is Per Roos and I work as a senior scientist at the DTU NUTECH in Denmark. We are a laboratory specialized in the analytical work of radioactive isotopes. ‘We’ are as well as engineers, physicists, chemists and biologists. I have a background in radiation physics from Lund University in Sweden but I started working here in Denmark, Roskilde, in 1999. The main reason for moving here was my interest in mass spectrometry and I think I’m lucky to still have the possibility to work with this technique. I will try and give you a glance of my every day work and how this is connected to marine science.
