Today it's been a month since the cruise began. Our friend has birthday, so we have two opportunities to celebrate and can't wait for a cake.
Everything is going well. The weather is better, so our CTD measurements are much efficient. We only had to change cable in one set of temperature sensors to make them work properly. Every second station we take water from about 7 levels of depth for nutrients, using bathometers attached to the rosette. There are water sample collected from the Arctic domain and Atlantic water domain carried by the West Spitsbergen Current in order to chemical substances determination. Every hour the weather conditions are reported as well.
We hope that such an atmosphere of work will last untill the end of section or even further. Regards, Agnieszka.
