New 5-month series of blogs (5 parts) will be presented by Michał Czub and to be started in February 2012.

Michal (Michael, Mikael, Mikolas, Mikkel, Mickael) is the student of Oceanography in the Gdansk University and presently he is writing his master’s thesis in our Ecology Department at IO PAN in Sopot. He was engaged in some field work on the beach and took part in the research cruises on r/v Oceania in the Baltic Sea as well as on r/v Polarstern in Arctic.

1^st Part will be just an introduction to the idea of blog as the guideline to complicated process of gaining the research data and to oceanology as the interdisciplinary science.
