- Research station business scope includes: Baltic biology, oceanography and ecology of sea fishing;
- Assessment of changes in seasonal and perennial species of fish utility i Szczecin Lagoon;
- Monitor changes in water chemistry;
- Monitoring for the presence of invasive species in the estuary of the Oder;
- Research on the biology and ecology of early developmental stages of herring.
