Goddag from Denmark. Today was exciting and the weather was great. People enjoyed it in different ways. Some went for a bicycle trip, others went fishing in shorts.

We chose the first option. But first, we were at the Klaipeda University to test E-modules about the Baltic Sea. It’s an interactive, learning program where you try out the work of marine scientists. It’s a work in progress and our role was to test it and give constructive feedback.

Afterwards, it was lunch time and we ate pizza at Charlie’s Pizza.

From Charlie’s Pizza there was just a five minutes’ walk to the bicycle rental point. It took some time to find proper bicycles for everyone and to get used to the peculiarity that the bicycles only had handbrakes. After a short bicycle race, we were ready to leave for the Regional Park.

First stop was the brand new Visitor Center of Seaside regional park where we saw four fish and a shrimp. We also watched a movie with a very catchy theme melody: “See the sea”.
Just chillin’ at the Marine Museum
We continued to a dune high above the sea before returning to the city. In total, we rode about 10 km. with only two crashes… by the same person… and a few wrong turns.

I already miss all of you, even it was real challenge to organise everything. I hope you got something nice/memorable from this camp!
