Module 3: Water Exchange in the Baltic Sea

We are in the midst of planning the third learning module "Water Exchange in the Baltic Sea".
Just like the other modules this one is filled with information and experiments. The main focus of "Water Exchange" is the very specific conditions that govern the Baltic Sea:
- the restricted water exchange with the North Sea
- the stratification in the water body
- the saline gradient from north to south and east to west
Organize a virtual research cruise to follow the course of a salt water inflow event, investigate the reasons for warm or cold water at beaches that are only a few hundred metres apart. And why exactly is the codfish dependent on stratification in the Baltic Sea?
This module will be full of interesting experiments to answer these questions...
